Why we started InnovexHealth
InnovexHealth CRO Pvt Ltd is a women-led contract research organisation. It was founded, and is run, by women physicians and pharmaceutical professionals in Islamabad.
Closing a gap we saw from the inside
Pakistan has the patients, the clinicians and the laboratories that good clinical research needs. What it has had too little of is organisations able to run a study to a standard that regulators at home and abroad will accept, and to prove it on inspection.
We saw the gap from the inside. Our founders are physicians who have spent their careers in hospital laboratories, transfusion services and clinics, and have watched local manufacturers struggle to find performance evidence for their products and sound studies stall for want of regulatory know-how. InnovexHealth CRO Pvt Ltd was set up to close that gap.
We began with the unglamorous work: writing our procedures, training our people and building a facility with a proper archive. The Drug Regulatory Authority of Pakistan inspected us in 2026 and granted our contract research organisation licence in August of that year.
Clinical research and advisory work
We plan, run and report clinical studies of medicines and medical devices, and clinical performance studies of in vitro diagnostics. We also advise on medical device registration and market entry in Pakistan.
