Electronic data capture
We build study databases on OpenClinica, an electronic data capture system used in clinical research worldwide. For each study we design the electronic case report forms, program the edit checks, test the build and train site users before the first participant is enrolled.
Access is by named user and role, and every entry and change is recorded.
Data management
A data management plan sets out how data will be entered, checked, queried and locked. We review data continuously, raise queries with sites, reconcile safety data and lock the database only when every query is closed and you have signed off.
Biostatistics
Our data team contributes from the design stage: sample size, randomisation and the choice of endpoints. The statistical analysis plan is finalised before database lock. After lock we produce the tables, listings and figures and contribute the statistical sections of the study report.
